A Consultation to draft an International Charter of Professional Conduct

The creation of a global network of professionals will help families access mediators specialised in cross-border family conflicts.

ISS wants to gather mediation professionals from all continents to establish jointly an accreditation system which guarantees standards of professional conduct.

The multilingual website can host a register of mediators located in the different countries.

Preparation will consist in coordinating all actors of international family mediation coming from different regions and elaborating a base for the joint consultation on the international charter and an accreditation system which will be recognised by States. The consultation will take place in Geneva in fall of 2015.

ISS members work together

All ISS members work together for the welfare of children and their family. They share a common expertise in international social work and as such are able to provide efficient intercountry caseworkservices in their country and across borders.
