The ISS/IRC was invited to Paris for the fourth time to provide training for French judges and other judicial and administrative actors on Adoption in Europe and worldwide: Developments and perspectives. Taking advantage of the French capital's location to meet with key actors working in intercountry adoption, the ISS/IRC for the first time participated at the national conference organized annually by the Mission de l'Adoption Internationale (Intercountry adoption mission-MAI) for all the adoption and child protection actors of the French territory with over 200 participants. It was an excellent opportunity to showcase the Manifesto for Ethical Intercountry Adoption as well as ISS/IRC's services such as country situation and monthly review – which were welcomed by many professionals. Furthermore a meeting at the MAI's team, including the French Ambassador for the Intercountry Adoption, was an occasion to strengthen the ties with our French partner who has been faithfully supporting the ISS/IRC for over a decade as well as discuss further cooperation projects.
