Award Ceremony of the "Fondation pour Genève", 8 September 2014

The General Secretariat participated and represented ISS to the award ceremony of the Prix de la Fondation pour Genève that took place at the Palais des Nations. This prize given to Mr. Didier Burkhalter, the President of the Swiss Confederation honours outstanding individuals for their support for International Geneva, capital for international cooperation since 150 years.
Respect for human rights, peace and welfare can only be reached through exchanges, partnerships and finding solution together, across national borders, across themes and silos reminded Mr. Michael Moller, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations and Director General of the Office of the United Nations in Geneva. ISS continues to miss no effort to increase its visibility and show pride to its unique mandate to reach more families and children around the world.
