ISS recently went to Burkina Faso and Vietnam as part of the follow-up and monitoring of the project ‘A better future is possible’ in these countries. The goal of the mission was to accompany and strengthen the pool of national trainers to disseminate good practices in the care, evaluation and case management of children with disabilities living in institutions.
The local trainers are an essential component of the project as they support the staff in partner institutions in their efforts to implement ISS recommendations.
This mission enabled ISS to adjust and fine tune its intervention taking into account local needs and realities.
